Oilfield Cementing: Typical dosage in field applications is 0.5-2 L/m³ of cement slurry, depending on the severity of the foaming problem and slurry viscosity. Optimally, this product should be applied at a constant rate throughout the cement job, but slug applications for quick foam suppression can be applied in extreme circumstances. Operator experience is extremely important when using this product. Laboratory scale tests have demonstrated overdosing will not affect overall product performance.
Other Applications: Although this product has not been evaluated for use in other industries unrelated to oilwell cementing, it does exhibit foam suppression properties that may be beneficial in other industrial applications where foam generation poses technical difficulty.
